Composition

How to choose your self-tanner?

There are many forms of self-tanner: drops to mix with moisturizer, mousse, lotion, oil, serum or milk... When choosing your self-tanner, choose the one that meets your skin's needs and your desires. Note that a self-tanner in milk, oil or cream format will tend to be more moisturizing for the skin, while a mousse or mist texture will be easier to apply but will penetrate the skin more quickly. The Classic A Hint of Summer Rudolph Care radiance self-tanner is the ideal treatment to give your skin a radiant complexion and light tan. In drop form, to be mixed with your daily moisturizer, it's the easy-to-apply self-tanner that will appeal to the less initiated and to skin looking for a pre-summer glow.

How do I apply self-tanner?

Self-tanners should always be applied to clean, dry skin. So, if you've just got out of the shower, wait 20 minutes before applying your tanning treatment. We recommend that youexfoliate your skin 48 to 72 hours before applying a self-tanner to even out the epidermis. To do this, use a body scrub that removes dead cells from the skin's surface, such as Seal Salt Gommage au Sel Marin Marjolaine Eucalyptus 135 L:A Bruket, a scrub that deeply exfoliates and nourishes the skin, leaving a satin finish, or the Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub Herbivore, a gentle scrub that leaves skin soft and nourished. You can also exfoliate your skin in the days following the application of your self-tanner to ensure your tan lasts.

It's better to wax before applying a self-tanner, rather than afterwards. In fact, waxing after using a self-tanner can lighten the skin slightly. And to avoid self-tanner stains on your hands or marks on your skin, it's all about massage! Massage your skin with broad, enveloping strokes to help the self-tanner penetrate. For the face, apply bronzer from the inside out, using circular massaging movements, not forgetting to massage the nape of the neck and the ears, for an even, harmonious finish. Our tip for applying self-tanner: after applying self-tanner, wipe over rough areas (such as heels, knees or elbows) and eyebrows with a damp, well-wrung cotton pad. This will easily avoid darker areas. And don't forget to wash your hands after application! Don't forget to moisturize your skin in the days following your self-tanning treatment to keep it smooth, supple and even, and to ensure your tan lasts longer.

How do I remove traces of self-tanner?

To remove traces of self-tanner from your palms, use a little lemon juice mixed with a few teaspoons of salt. Rub your hands for a few minutes before rinsing, then moisturize intensely - and you're done! If you have self-tanning stains on your skin, nothing is more effective thana body scrub. To reduce these stains and even out the result, massage a body scrub into dry skin for a few minutes, then rinse off the grains. And if you've applied a little too much self-tanner and want to tone it down, apply a generous amount of coconut oil to your skin and leave for 30 minutes before rinsing. The combination of oil and warm water can reduce the amount of excess tanning cream.
