Ilia beauty is a clean make-up brand created in 2012 in Vancouver, by Sasha Plavsic.
Although its founder began her career in design, her passion for beauty soon caught up with her! An avid consumer of skincare and make-up products, Sasha found herself frustrated by a range of products that tended to focus on trends and novelty, without any awareness of their composition... On the other hand, while at the time some brands were very vigilant about ingredients, the desirability of the product was now terribly lacking. All that remained was to create it! Ilia Beauty was born out of this desire to find a brand with a transparent composition in tune with the times.

Ilia beauty focuses on formula transparency, providing a detailed explanation of each ingredient present in its skincare products. As a result, the brand does not add any inert active ingredients (intended simply to "fill" the formula), but with no benefit for your skin. The other good news? Ilia products are non-comedogenic and very well tolerated by all skin types. As a result, foundations, blushes, powders and concealers can be used without fear by combination to oily skins, without fear of suffocating the most blemish-prone or highly sensitive skins. Finally, the Ilia production is entirely sustainable, from formulation to product recycling. In fact, our packs are recyclable, made from recycled glass or aluminum and paper from sustainable forests. Ilia cosmetics are therefore on the borderline between skincare and make-up, protecting against external aggressions, and enhancing and reviving the natural beauty of every skin.
