I love the Patyka brand but I was very disappointed by this sun cream.
It's a shame it says "no white marks" on the cream, because it leaves (lots and lots of) white marks ... Stubborn white marks that remain despite the shower :).
What's more, I got sunburned even with frequent reapplication.

So far, we haven't received any feedback indicating that the protection wasn't effective, but I'd like to reassure you that our suncare products are thoroughly tested to validate the SPF level by specialized laboratories. As far as stains are concerned, this has to do with the filters, and is indeed the case with many suncare products on the market today. I love Patyka products and this 100ml format won me over. The scent is super pleasant and the packaging very practical. However, it leaves white traces (contrary to what is indicated on the product) that remain all day on the skin, texture difficult to spread, in short ... I do not recommend this product. Too bad, because the rest is there :(

It contains mineral filters that are heavier than chemical filters, which may give it a thicker appearance. Sunscreen Body Spray SPF30
I like Patyka a lot in general, but using this sunscreen was a trial this summer: contrary to what is sold on the bottle, rarely a sunscreen has left me so many white marks and has been so not waterproof. The formula should be rethought or the advantages put forward, because as it is, it is misleading. I strongly advise against it.
Hello Virginie, we are really sorry and we understand perfectly, indeed the mineral filters have the disadvantage of leaving more white traces than some chemical filters (but which have the disadvantage of not always being well tolerated by sensitive skins and often less good for the environment). Did you follow the instructions for use (written directly on the bottle)?
If not, I would advise you to use our Sun Body Cream SPF50+, whose chemical sunscreens are still among the safest at the moment.

Hello Marine, thank you for your message. It is true that zinc oxide has been revealed to be dangerous for the sea bed but also for humans only when it is present in the form of nanoparticles. Rest assured, we are very vigilant at Oh My Cream, we do not select products that contain nanoparticles. Zinc oxide in non-nano format is very recognizable because it leaves a white film on the surface of the skin, which you can see in this cream.
