Hello, I'm really sorry that this product didn't meet your expectations 100%... Despite all the safety checks carried out, undesirable effects can occur and are often linked to individual sensitivity to one or more ingredients. If your skin reddens or reacts, it's likely that there's an active ingredient you can't tolerate. You can react to anything, even natural active ingredients :-/

Excellent product. Perfect as a second step in double make-up removal. It doesn't irritate the skin at all, which is very soft afterwards. My micro-cysts on my forehead are also starting to disappear. A wonderful discovery! Concern:Dehydration
I've adopted it on a daily basis, and it's made my complexion more even, and in combination with the scrub it's helped me get rid of my micro-kysts.
Received this morning, it's the first Goop product I've wanted to test. First of all, you don't need much, and the scent is pleasant. My sensitive skin tolerates it perfectly and all I have to do is massage it gently into damp skin to leave it extremely soft and cleansed.
I apply it to damp skin after using OMC Cleansing Oil. I think I use it 3 times a week. And it makes me want to discover other goop products! Concern:Sensitivities & Redness
In the end, this is a relatively gentle cleanser that I can use every day without damaging my skin... but I'm addicted to it, both for the small grains that leave my skin feeling clean, and for its completely addictive fruit scent! It makes a real difference in terms of radiance and "fresh complexion", and I use it especially when I have small imperfections to speed up their disappearance.
