Customer Reviews
I've tried several dark circle concealers and have always been disappointed. I thought they didn't look natural and tended to "cake".
But I was pleasantly surprised with this concealer. It's light and doesn't cake. It gives a natural look and is easy to apply. But it won't suit people looking for very good coverage. It gives a healthy glow and reduces dark circles, but doesn't entirely erase them. For my part, it suits me perfectly and I'd definitely buy it again. Concern:Dark circles & Puffiness

True Skin Serum Concealer
Why is True Skin Concealer Ilia one of the best concealers?
If the best concealer doesn't exist, since everyone's skin and coverage criteria are different, one of our favorite concealers is undoubtedly Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer. With its light, silky texture, it's perfect for normal to dry skin looking for light but adjustable coverage. Capable of camouflaging the remnants of a too-short night's sleep, a small pimple or even localized redness, it's the anti-dark circle to have in your make-up bag. What's more, we love its multi-functionality, since it can actually be applied to all areas of the face, in dabs. It gives an immediate "bonne-mine" effect to all skin tones, without exception. It's just a question of choosing the right shade for your skin, because the wrong dark circles concealer can also have the opposite effect and be cruelly unnatural! Discover our shade guide.
How do I apply my concealer?
Apply dark circle concealer directly to shadow areas only. Ideally, you should start at the inner corner of the eye, but remember that no two people have the same shadows. If you have bags under your eyes, the shaded areas are less close to your eyes, but will be more towards the bottom of the circle, in a semicircle, which is where the product should be applied. For a natural result, apply with your fingertips. Alternatively, apply with a small, flat brush, alternating tapping and sweeping movements. To camouflage larger areas, such as marked redness, opt for a wide, flat brush or again with your finger. The trick to camouflaging small pimples? Use a very small brush, such as a lip or liner brush, then add material directly to the skin, tap with the brush and finish with your fingertips. You can also lightly powder to set the result. For a "lift" effect in the eye area, use a small brush and add concealer to the outer corner of the eye.
