Dr Bronner, a family story
Dr Bronner, is first and foremost a family story. This American brand was founded in 1948 by Emmanuel Bronner, who came from a family of soapmakers handed down from father to son. This great idealist in search of an egalitarian world accompanied his soaps with pacifist flyers. But realizing that these flyers were always left out, he came up with a clever idea for conveying his messages of respect and peace... by printing them directly onto the labels of his products! It was a great success, and soon became a trademark of Dr Bronner's soaps. Dr Bronner. The brand has been offering ethical, ecological and socially responsible products for decades.
Dr Bronner's commitments
Since 2003, the brand has become the first USDA-certified cosmetics company in the US, and the first brand of eco-friendly soaps sold in the USA!
Today, all our soaps are certified :
Fair trade means respect for suppliers, respectful working conditions and fair wages. Dr Bronner advocates direct, healthy relations with its various suppliers and the choice of agriculture that is more respectful of the environment.
Dr Bronner products are vegan and certified not tested on animals.
Dr Bronner holds organic certification and maintains relationships with certified suppliers.
No GMOs or other components harmful to health or the environment.
B Corp certification implies that Dr Bronner has a positive impact on society and the environment.
Citrus soap bar
What is it? This bar soap with vegetable and essential oils of lemon cleanses the skin while leaving an invigorating citrus fragrance.
Why do we love it so much? Because this 100% zero-waste soap with no harmful additives is multi-purpose (18-in-1!) and can be used for both the body and the home (in hand-washing, for example).
Almond liquid soap
What is it? A liquid soap based on plant oils and formulated without synthetic foaming agents, effectively cleanses the skin and restores its protective film.
Why do we love it so much? Because its delicious (yet 100% natural!) almond fragrance takes us back to childhood... and just as well, because it's suitable for the whole family and comes in a generous size!
