We tested it for you... Studio Fauve's Energizing Signature Hair Treatment

In a society where we're constantly told that our hair is only good for shaving, it's really good to see that a place, far removed from the beauty diktats of Paris, is taking care of it. I met Marine Morel at the beginning of 2021, when she was working on the launch of her gender-neutral razor brand UNY. A true beauty enthusiast, Marine was determined to change the way people think about hair, both in terms of care and beauty, and her gamble paid off... 

Two years after its launch, UNY became Fauve, swapping its razors for hair care, and last June inaugurated Studio Fauve in the heart of the Marais district. With its meticulous aesthetics and treatment menu, this temple to beauty like no other is the first space dedicated to hair care in its entirety, from body hair to eyebrows and hair. Behind the 4 treatment cabins, hair is sculpted, regenerated, relaxed, sometimes plucked, but above all sublimated, all in compliance with a meticulous protocol of expert techniques that adapt to every need.

Frizz, split ends, damaged and/or brittle ends... So many signs that hair is in (dire) need of a boost. And with the return of summer, there's no better way to take care of your hair thanwith an energizing and regenerating treatment to help it regain its full shine. As my hair is dry, tired and damaged by repeated straightening and coloring, I was eager to discover this treatment to help my hair regain its tone and vitality. Spoiler alert, I was not disappointed. 

The treatment begins with an initial body massage ritual to stimulate the circulatory and energy systems while relaxing the mind. Gentle movements on key points of the body invite complete relaxation... Yes, because my mind is gradually drifting away. Next, the hair massage begins with a gentle initial brushing. 

The gestures that follow are dedicated to the scalp, which is massagedin depth to promote good irrigation of the hair bulbs for stronger, more resistant hair, and to soothe irritation. Both energizing and relaxing, this capillary massage gives hair a new energy, but not only that... I feel energized and reboosted from head to toe. As for my hair, it feels three times fuller, not greasier, shinier, deliciously scented, soft and moisturized. One brush stroke later, my practitioner is waiting for me outside with a sweet treat from the bakery next door, as well as a nice hot tea. A real treat that makes this experience all the more enjoyable. The first time I wash my hair after the treatment, it looks shinier and more nourished, and 3 weeks later, summer seems to have had no effect whatsoever on it: it's strong, more resistant and as soft as ever.
