Naturally, asking her to share her list of favorite spots was a no-brainer…
What is your philosophy on self-care?
“My deep conviction is that there is no single definition of well-being, but as many ways to take care of oneself as there are people. There is no universal protocol, no model routine, and no “model student” to emulate. Self-care is deeply personal: it is experienced at one’s own pace, in one’s own rhythm, without an imposed schedule.”
“What I hate are moralizing speeches—that constant ‘you should’ that turns self-care into yet another source of guilt. And I hate fear-mongering even more. At Dopamin, we try to do exactly the opposite: open up the conversation, rather than shut it down with demands.”
What's your favorite place to go for a good body treatment?
“A massage at Paris Palms. Honestly, it was a revelation.”
If there were one wellness ritual you should try at least once in your life, what would it be for you?
“A breathwork session. For me, it was with Sarah (@dumpster), and it was deeply moving: I cried my eyes out and entered a trance-like state I’d never experienced before. Something everyone should try at least once.”
Which wellness expert do you trust completely to help you get back on your feet?
“I do strength training with a personal trainer named Vincent Limare every week at Gymate, which is awesome!”
