A healthy and tasty picnic...

Picnics are a great opportunity to get together and enjoy the weather! Although the tablecloth replaces the dining table and the chairs are exchanged for cushions, certain principles must be kept in mind to maintain a balanced diet and good digestion. Aurélie Canzoneri gives us her advice.

A few variations of raw vegetables as an appetizer...

  • Carrot or cucumber sticks with hummus or a sauce made with miso, flaxseed oil and sesame.

  • A salad of vegetables without forgetting the aromatic herbs which will bring taste and which will bring taste and improve digestion.
  • Vegetarian spring rolls with salad, mint and raw vegetables raw vegetables.
  • A vegetable juice or a smoothie according to your desires and the season.

Avoid snacking by preparing the main course in advance

Picnic rhymes very often with snacking... But as we all know, this does not promote good digestion. To avoid falling into the trap the poké bowl can be a good idea ! For the composition of your poké, you can choose quinoa or rice, lightly cooked vegetables to which you add sprouted seeds, avocado, a little feta and olive oil. For animal proteins, choose soft-boiled eggs, chicken or fish and for vegetable proteins, legumes such as chickpeas, kidney beans or lentils.

Unthinkable to imagine a picnic without bread? You will find on Aurélie's website a version of bread without gluten.

If you want to finish your picnic on a sweet note prefer cooked fruit in the form of compotes and keep raw fruit out of your meals.

Don't forget to hydrate

For the drink, nothing better than... spring water or low mineralized water while knowing that it is preferable to drink a lot before a meal, little during and wait at least 1 hour after eating to avoid diluting the digestive juices. You can also flavour it with a few drops of lemon and mint or basil leaves.
