Why use coco cream every day?

Coconut oil cosmetics deserve to be known... Indeed, the richness in lauric acid of the coconut allows it to be perfectly well assimilated and tolerated by all skin types, even oily skin! Coconut oil (or coco cream when it is in creamy form at room temperature), nourishes the skin and contains in particular vitamins A and E, perfect for regenerating the skin. Clearly, coconut oil is therefore anti-aging. But the powers of coconut do not stop there... Anti-microbial par excellence, if it is cold extracted and therefore unrefined, it is excellent for treating imperfections. To track down coconut oil in your beauty products, look for it under the name “Cocos nucifera oil” ;-) 

Coco face cream: how to use it?

Universal, coconut oil is ideal as the first step in double cleansing. Even in its raw state, coconut cream is able to remove makeup and all impurities. To do this, simply warm the equivalent of a large hazelnut between your palms and then apply it to your face while it is still dry. Make small circular movements and then rinse with lukewarm water. As it is not water-soluble, coconut cream should however be followed by a cleanser (gel or milk) for a perfect double cleanse, without a greasy finish. On clean, dry skin, it can also be used as a simple treatment oil, using a very small amount (less than a hazelnut). It helps restore comfort, radiance and suppleness thanks to its nourishing and antioxidant powers. 

Coconut oil for oily skin: an impossible duo? 

Well no! Provided that your coco cream is of excellent quality (i.e. cold-pressed and pure), coconut oil can on the contrary be of great help in both reducing small imperfections and even limiting shine. The reason? Not only is it sanitizing, but it also limits excess sebum since by applying an oil, we “mimic” this famous sebum and therefore calm its production. We then send a message to the skin: that of not producing more. And by domino effect, we avoid imperfections! Using a coconut makeup remover is for example recommended for combination to oily skin.  

Coconut in body & hair products 

Pure coconut oil is ideal for nourishing the driest and most uncomfortable skin. And since it is restorative, in addition to limiting dryness, it helps to limit small stretch marks. Its natural and delicious coconut scent also lasts quite a long time! It can be used every day, as an after-sun treatment or after hair removal/shaving, or even under the armpits to neutralize bad odors. Want to stop using deodorants rich in aluminum salts? Switch to coconut deodorant , it is much more respectful of the skin... and the environment. For damaged or dry hair, you can use coco cream on the lengths and ends from a few minutes to all night, as a pre-shampoo treatment. There's nothing like it for soft, shiny hair, full of vitality!
