In Annie's bathroom Collage

Passionate about fashion and beauty, Annie imagines vintage-era collages on her Instagram account, reminiscent of the pages of the greatest fashion magazines. Meet this dreamer with a well-rounded routine who advocates natural beauty.

How did the Annie Collage account come about?

Making collages has always been my secret language, a way of expressing myself through images. Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved escaping into the world of magazines, captivated by photos. Cutting and pasting them into my journals was a way of building my own world - a vibrant tapestry of words, photos and quotes that resonated deeply with me. It was instinctive, a pure form of expression and a source of inspiration. After years of keeping these collages to myself, I felt the need to share this part of myself with the world. Annie Collage was born of a desire to inspire others and invite them to see the beauty I see.

Why do you mix fashion and beauty in your collages?

For me, fashion and beauty are inseparable; they're two sides of the same coin. They are two powerful forms of personal expression, allowing us to showcase our individuality and creativity. Every fashion choice, every beauty product we select, tells a story about who we are. Thoughtfully combined, fashion and beauty create a powerful synergy that reinforces our natural confidence and allows us to share our unique essence with the world.

And speaking of beauty... What are your beauty essentials?

For me, skincare is an act of self-love, and I favor gentle, effective formulas based on clean ingredients. I always start with a deep cleansing using the Cleansing Foam Oh My Cream Skincare or The Cleanse Soft Mousse Nettoyante Démaquillante Ilia. After that, moisturizing comes first. The Boum Boum Milk Moisturizing Cream Spray Violette_FR changes the game and gives a dewy glow, while the moisturizing mist The Face Mist Augustinus Bader moisturizing mist provides a refreshing boost all day long. Of course, skin care isn't limited to the face.

For my lips, I like the moisturizing and plumping effect of the revitalizing balm Lip Wrap Reviving Balm Ilia, combined with a gentle exfoliation with Gentle Lip Scrub 270 L:a Bruket

Before styling, I nourish my hair with the serum Restore + Shine Hair Serum Goop Beauty, a vitamin C concentrate for healthy shine. For my body, the firming cream Cloud Milk Herbivore Botanicals intensely moisturizes my skin and leaves it incredibly soft.

When it comes to make-up, I opt for a minimal, natural style, focusing on highlighting my features. Bronzing powder Bonne Mine Powder Les Filles En Rouje adds a touch of warmth, while the complexion illuminators Lightshift Cream Highlighter Enlumineur de Teint Ilia give a subtle glow. And for my lips, I add just a touch of colour and hydration.

How do you look after yourself on a daily basis, beyond skincare?

Taking care of myself is essential for me; it's the basis of my well-being. Over the years, I've cultivated a morning ritual that helps me get through the day. I start by getting up early, doing some breathing exercises and hydrating with two glasses of water. I always follow with a gentle body massage using a moisturizing cream. For my hair, I sleep with a silk pillowcase, braid my hair and moisturize with a hair oil that I reapply in the morning. Three times a week, I prioritize fitness with a good cardio session, followed by the ultimate relaxation combo: sauna and hydromassage. These rituals leave me feeling energized, balanced and ready to take on the world.

We understand you're also a perfume fan... Can you tell us about the collages you created for the launch of Versatile Paris?

This project was a dream! I love translating scents into visual stories - it's like creating characters for a film or a book. For Croissant CaféI imagined a quiet morning bathed in soft, warm light. The scent made me think of oversized shirts, wildly tousled hair, a gentle skincare routine or the soothing aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The collage evokes that perfect, slow start to the day we all crave.

Sea, Sud & Sun captures the essence of a sunny summer afternoon - salty hair, sun-kissed skin, the refreshing aroma of a cool drink. It's an olfactory escape to a beachside haven. Culot Thé is an ode to moments of peace. Imagine an afternoon spent in the company of a captivating book, a hot cup of tea or perhaps a leisurely stroll through a flower market. This fragrance embodies serenity and contentment, inviting you to enjoy a moment of peaceful solitude.

Each Versatile fragrance is a unique story waiting to be told. It was a pure pleasure to bring their distinct personalities to life through collage.

What do you like about creating collages?

I'm a dreamer at heart, constantly on the lookout for beauty in everything around me. I see the world as a giant collage - a tapestry woven from everyday encounters, breathtaking landscapes and inspiring people. It's this unique perspective that fuels my creativity. For me, collage isn't about technical skill, it's about sharing emotions. Through Annie Collage, I want people to discover the world through my eyes, to marvel, to find inspiration in unexpected places and to embrace the beauty of life itself.

Have you always been passionate about beauty?

Absolutely! In fact, I'm more passionate about beauty and skincare than fashion. Discovering new products, exploring textures and scents - that really excites me. Don't get me wrong, I don't like heavy make-up or complicated routines. What interests me is natural radiance! My approach is more "less is more" these days. I'm always curious to try new things, especially if someone I admire recommends them, but at 34, I know what works best for me and what really brings out my natural glow.

Has your vision of beauty evolved since the creation of Annie Collage?

My beauty journey is rich in self-development and self-discovery. Like many, I was for a long time influenced by the unrealistic beauty standards often portrayed online. However, I've come to understand that true beauty goes far beyond a perfect image. It's about the energy we exude, the self-love we cultivate and our commitment to becoming the best versions of ourselves - inside and out. Today, I'm drawn to authentic creators who embrace their individuality and imperfections. It's a powerful reminder that beauty isn't about achieving perfection, but about celebrating our unique selves.

What advice would you give us on how to maintain this realistic approach to beauty?

I'm delighted to see that more and more content creators are celebrating authenticity and showing their true colors online. It's essential, especially for young girls and women, to see diverse representations of beauty. While I love creating visually captivating content, I always strive to be authentic. I believe it's important to use my platform to inspire self-love and encourage my followers to see beauty beyond the filters. If social networks make you feel like you don't measure up, my advice is simple: hit the "unfollow" button! Surround yourself with supportive and inspiring people, those who celebrate reality and promote a healthy self-image. Remember, you don't have to be perfect to be beautiful; your uniqueness is your strength.
