From the genesis of Odacité to her favorite wellness rituals, Valérie tells us everything...
A pretty name with French resonance and 100% made in California manufacturing... Could you tell us more about Odacité?
Odacité was born in 2009 in Topanga, a sublime canyon between Los Angeles and Malibu... It's a brand with Franco-Californian DNA (I was born in Paris but I live in Los Angeles), and a pioneer of the "clean beauty" movement.clean beauty". My brand was born of a desire that became vital the day I had breast cancer. The urge to reinvent everything in order to live healthily, to go back to basics, and to get rid of everything that pollutes us, starting with what I put on my skin every day. I wanted to create a brand whose name speaks of the audacity to defy convention, by daring to imagine skincare products that reconcile the best of French cosmetic standards with the Californian desire to live as close to nature as possible.
In fact, Odacité is the best of both worlds! On the one hand, the healthy-green California lifestyle "and on the other, the extraordinary know-how of French cosmetics. It's a way to create formulas that awaken the skin's vitality, while respecting our health... and this wonderful planet we live on.

For me a ritual adapts to the time I have available. It can be as simple as washing my hands with full awareness, feeling the water running over my skin in gratitude for having access to this running water. When I wake up, I like to feel the Gua Sha glide over my tired features from a too-short night and smooth my face in a few minutes.
At the office, in front of my computer a little Immortelle Mist + Aloe to refresh my complexion and escape for a few seconds into the fields of Corsican immortelle...
Finally, more elaborate, at the end of a tiring day, a bath with the Mood Cleansing Bath Salt to remove all traces of stress.
