In the bathroom of Alizée Cailliau, content creator and photographer

Passionate about photography, food and nature, but also about clean beauty, Alizée Cailliau knows exactly how to make us want to escape with her sunny, soft-filled shots. Meet this talented content creator, who reveals her favorite rituals and bathroom essentials.

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Alizée, and I live between Paris and Marseille. I've been a photographer, community manager and content creator for a few years now. I love the synergy between these 3 jobs, which allows me to blossom through my taste for aesthetics and visuals.

What do you like best about your daily routine?

Capturing moments in life, collaborating with inspired and inspiring people, meeting different profiles and being nourished by these exchanges. For me, being always on the move is the key to maintaining mental and physical balance.

Where does your passion for photography come from?

I've always loved photography, on a personal level because it really represents my way of life, it's something I do naturally because I love creating, sharing and magnifying the moment I capture. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel a lot since my childhood with my parents, and this has inspired me a lot in my vision of things. This passion has continued to grow and has become my work today. I'm happy to say that my passion has become my profession.

What is your vision of beauty and well-being?

For me, the two are linked, one cannot exist without the other. Beauty is not simply a question of appearance, but a way of feeling good about oneself, of reflecting inner harmony. It's a balance between taking care of yourself, listening to your body and nourishing your spirit.

What's your first beauty memory?

My first real beauty memory was discovering the world ofOh My Cream. Before that, I saw make-up as something very classic, sometimes too busy or far removed from my personality. But when I discovered this concept of beauty clean, I discovered a more natural and respectful spectrum of make-up that really suits me. First I went for the Ilia brand, which I thought was great for someone who wants to wear make-up in a "discreet" way, then the Mineral Powder SPF20 Oh My Cream Skincare, which creates a natural blend where I don't feel like I'm wearing make-up.

What are your beauty essentials?

My daily essentials: Dr Hauschka Purifying Cream, Exfoliating Powder Exfoliating Powder Oh My Cream Skincareand I alternate with the Daily Microfoliant DermalogicaLip Balm L:a Bruket (the best lip balm in my opinion), the Caudalie eye contour from the Resveratrol range, the Crème Universelle Oh My Cream Skincare, which is super pleasant because its texture is neither too oily nor too fine, Pureality's essence reset, Neuraé's Harmonie serum, the Palette Lèvres Les Filles en Rouje for a fancy touch, thePre-Shampoo Oil by Leonor Greyl, the Memory Mist byAdrien Coelho to give my hair texture after washing, and La Bonne Brosse to detangle and brush my hair.

What holistic "rituals" do you like to turn to for rejuvenation?

My skincare routine plays an important role; it's a moment just for me... I love taking the time to do a complete beauty routine: a deep cleansing, a mask, a bit of facial massage. These are simple gestures, but they give me a real sense of calm and care. I'm also very drawn to more holistic practices like yoga, trying out facials like the Hydrafacial at Innerskin, which I loved, the Kobido at Oryza, or discovering superfoods that allow me to find alternatives that brighten up my daily routine!

Sport is also important to me. Whether it's a Dynamo session or a pilates session at Riise, getting moving allows me to reconnect with my mind and body and release tension. These are really places where I feel safe, confident and in my own bubble.

I try to do a yoga retreat once a year to give myself that total disconnect and a real reset.

Travel, even if it's not always far: discovering new places or simply changing environment recharges me enormously. I have a great need for sun and light, hence my pied-à-terre in Marseille. I also love meeting new people, and getting out of my comfort zone is essential for me! It's a kind of challenge that I like to take up every day.

And of course I walk a lot in town or in the countryside. I also go horse-riding in the Perche region, which has always been a passion of mine.

It's this mix of activities, combining self-care, connection with nature and introspection, that help me recharge my batteries and feel balanced and fulfilled.

Where do you feel most inspired and at your best?

It's in Paris because I'm surrounded by my nearest and dearest. But to maintain this healthy relationship with Paris, I need to see new landscapes, change my routine, and be close to nature to appreciate it even more. I'm lucky enough to have family and friends who live in different cities and countries, so whenever my schedule permits, I jump at the chance!

You seem to thrive in nature. Why do you feel so comfortable there?

When I was a child, I used to go to the Perche every weekend with my parents, because we have a country house there, and it's something that's really stayed with me ever since. This link with nature has become an almost vital need!

What helps you feel good about yourself and your daily life?

What makes me feel good in my skin is using clean products that suit me, and taking the time to choose them well so that my skin appreciates them. When I feel that my skin is nourished and balanced, it gives me confidence and encourages me to give myself more self-care moments, like a hug to myself every day.
