7 moms talk about their lives, routines and essentials

They've taught us a lot and often passed on their passion for beauty, kindly lent us their favorite lipstick and sometimes even swiped our night cream... Moms are in the spotlight this May, and for the occasion we asked 7 moms to reveal their life-saver, the beauty tip they inherited from their mother and the one they intend to share with their mini-me.

Clara Heinrich, model between Paris and Marseille

Her daily life as a woman: For the past few years, sisterhood has been quite central to my daily life. I like to support, love, listen to and value women, encourage their projects, and share causes and dreams with them.

Her beauty essentials: La Culture Crème de Nuit Réparatrice Antipodes, with probiotics and a delicious fragrance! One more? Hair supplements Mega Hair Talm supplements, simply magical!

A beauty tip from her mom: My mom doesn't have any beauty rituals, but she encouraged me to "show my happiness" to feel beautiful. I think that's the best advice there is.

And the one she can't wait to share with her children: Take time for yourself, without judgment. That's what I'd like to pass on: learn to love your imperfections and take care of your body so you can feel good about yourself.

Nathalie Olivier, stylist and mother of Justine and Ninon

Her daily life as a woman and mom: I've had more time for my beauty routine since my daughters left. All I have to do is look after myself, and I make the most of it: I test a lot of things and I've added products I need more.

Its beauty essential: the Crème Riche Tata Harper an ultra-smooth cream to plump, smooth and restore plumpness and a radiant complexion.

A beauty tip from her mom: My mom always advised me to cleanse and moisturize my skin. She didn't wear make-up, but she was very careful to make sure I had healthy skin. In fact, she took me to a dermatologist when I was a teenager and had me cleanse my skin regularly.

The beauty ritual she shares with her daughters: I very often do body massages with my daughters, we love to get together and it's a real ritual for us in Paris or on vacation.

Amal Belabbes, vintage enthusiast and mother of Noor, soon to be 1 year old

Her daily life as a wife and mother: It's rich and fulfilling, we both learn a little more every day, and we grow together.

Her beauty essentials: The Mega Plump and Mega Oil which have been with me since my pregnancy.

A beauty tip from her mom : her signature plum lipstick. Available in a light, mouth-biting version or a more pronounced shade, it's a must-have.

And the one she can't wait to share with her kids: Moisturizing so that she glows to the max. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but since I did, it's become indispensable!

Elise Horwitz, Kitsuné Communications Manager and soon-to-be mother

Her daily life as a woman and mother: Balance is key! My professional life is busy, so I treat myself to a workout, a date night and an evening out with friends every week, which does me a lot of good!

Beauty essentials: BioRegenerateBioRegenerate Wild Rose Oil Pai Skincare, for a true healthy-glow effect, mixed with the Multi Stick Ilia. For the past 8 months, I've been using Mega Oil Talm as a body massage oil to moisturize my belly and prevent pregnancy stretch marks.

A beauty tip from her mom: Beauty comes from within - she taught me to eat a balanced diet and to treat myself naturally using traditional Chinese recipes.

And the one she can't wait to share with her children: Reading her a book every night - it was my favorite ritual as a little girl.

Victoire Mathot, Director of External Relations and mother of 2 little girls

Her daily life as a wife and mother: It's a roller-coaster ride of love: big highs, small lows and lots of joy. We hold each other's hands when our hearts sink into our stomachs, things move fast and we (almost) wish they wouldn't stop.

Her beauty essentials: The Mega Oil Talm. It was given to me by a friend when I had just had a miscarriage. She didn't know I was pregnant again. I used it from head to toe throughout my pregnancy... and even today, a year after the birth of my daughter. I'm very tactile, and this oil is a joy to touch, its scent taking me back to very sweet moments.

A beauty tip from her mom: " My mom isn't much for beauty tips, but she was a dermatologist, so I've always known that the skin is an organ in its own right, and that it's important to keep it healthy.

The beauty ritual she already shares with her children: La Mega Oil Talm, which I cover myself with before bedtime, has also become my daughters' "nightmare oil", "boo-boo balm" and "comforter oil". It's a time when I massage them and we talk about our day. I want to teach them that it's important to have beauty products that are good for their skin, but also for their hearts and brains.

Stéphanie Richard, model and mother of 2-year-old twins

Her daily life as a wife and mother: My daily life as a wife and mother is as intense as it is magical. The combination of the two thrills me.

Her beauty essential: Mist Mega Water Talm mist to protect, soothe and reduce imperfections.

A beauty tip from her mom: wash your face with cold water! And always have a lipstick in your bag.

And the one she can't wait to share with her children: Every month since I was a teenager, I've made a good mask with honey and cinnamon powder when I feel my skin was overworked and weakened. My other gesture? Moisturize your face with good products, such as mists or floral waters, which help you get interested in plants and their virtues, create curiosity and have a good time in the bathroom.

RaĂŻssa Tchoulague, co-founder of @la.table.verte and mother of a 2-year-old boy

Her daily life as a wife and mother: a constant ambivalence. Exciting and exhausting.

Her beauty essentials: I have an absolute passion for Mega Oil Talm. And my must-have for years Regenerating Cleanser Tata Harper.

A beauty tip from her mom: have a signature beauty gesture. For her, it was her lipstick, the colour of which looked like it had been designed with her in mind.

The beauty ritual she shares with her son: Taking care of his frizzy hair. It's our ritual that he hates at the moment because he's 2. But I'm sure we'll have great memories of it.
