Rowse: raw, natural, minimalist beauty

Bound by their personal values and a deep respect for the environment, Nuria and Gabriela co-founded Rowse to celebrate raw beauty. Here's the genesis of the brand, the vision of the two women and the cult products you must try.

How did Rowse come to exist?

Nuria: Rowse was born in Paris in 2019, it was a mutual friend who introduced us. This first meeting with Gabriela and me gave rise to the desire to create a project together. We had in common a passion for plants and an immense respect for the planet. So we decided to create a brand of plant-based cosmetics. And we quickly understood that the purest thing you can extract from a plant is its oil. This is how our first product, theWinter Body Oilwhich is still a best-seller today.

Did it come naturally to you to create a brand that is fundamentally environmentally friendly?

Gabriela : A big yes! But first, I think it's important to say that Rowse is a human adventure. We are three women in this project: Nuria, Lamia (who is our product manager and the brain behind the Rowse formulas), and me. What has always driven us has been to be able to to create a project that made sense to us: as women and as mothersand to have the freedom to choose ingredients that are both good for our skin and good for the planet.

How did you start to get interested in holistic beauty rituals?

Nuria Rowse is not just a cosmetics brand: it's a way of life that suggests taking care of yourself in all aspects of daily life. At the end of the day, we pay attention to what we eat, what we do for exercise, what we put on our skin, and it's all part of our beauty ritual. For us, the connection you have when you use our products is very important. That's why taking time for yourself, connecting with nature and plants through our products and and having that almost therapeutic feeling is what matters most.

Nuria I love the Super Volume Solid Shampoobecause it contains shikakai, an ayurvedic powder very effective to purify the scalp and for its lemon scent that awakens! I also like our Tangerine Makeup Remover Balm super moisturizing that turns into milk when in contact with water. A real sensory pleasure... And the Regenerate Night Serum with strong antioxidant power which gives me a healthy glow and a plumped up skin in the morning.

Gabriela : And I love theNeroli Water for its floral scent and its tonic effect on my skinand theHemp oil for its repairing and regenerating properties. I combine them and my skin is perfectly hydrated. And theWinter Body OilIt contains rhodiola extract, a protective and anti-stress adaptogenic plant, nutritive oils and a scent that transports me to the forest. a smell that transports me to the forest !
