How to hide dark circles?
To get rid of dark circlesUnfortunately, there is no miracle product to get rid of dark circles, as we have to be transparent. However, by combining the right product with the right tool and the right gesture, you can easily improve the appearance of dark circles (and bags). And if dark circles are easily visible, it's simply because the eye area is the area where the skin is thinnest, with the circulation underneath only a few millimeters away...
What are the different types of dark circles?
There are several types of dark circlesthat are more or less easy to treat.
- Hollow circles: Hollow circles, as the name suggests, are circles that deepen with age. They can be caused by a melting of the fat of the eyelid or by aging. The dark circles and cheeks are the first places to lose volume.
- Dark circles: Unlike hollow circles, dark circles under the eye are the result of an accumulation of fat, sometimes associated with excess skin.
- Dark circles or brown circles: they are recognized by the appearance of pigmented spots on the lower eyelid, caused by an accumulation or high concentration of melanin.
-
Black and blue circles: These are vascular circles that are the result of a dysfunction of the blood and lymphatic circulation. This dysfunction leads to the accumulation of blood pigments under the lower eyelid and this is when the dark circles appear. Age or hormones can also be the cause. By affecting microcirculation, or even slowing it down, these factors create a breeding ground for dark circles.
