Tried and tested… The Korean facial

Last December, I walked through the doors of an apartment in the 8th district of Paris to meet Elodie Raheriaa beauty enthusiast (like us), on the lookout for all the latest beauty innovations launched around the world. After a HydraFacial treatment (a complete protocol to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize the skin in depth, while targeting various and customizable skin problems), I was finally going to test this amazing new method that I had heard about a few days earlier. Coming straight from Korea and spotted during a trade show in the capital, the formula has been revisited by Elodie, for her institute SeeMy.

The principle?

The Korean lift is a contactless treatment (a first for me). An airbrush diffuses the contents of an ampoule composed of plant stem cells, vitamins, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, ceramides and phyto-polyamides on the surface of the skin of the face and neck.

Unlike traditional topical treatments, this nano-diffusion technology (non-invasive and contactless) ensures a deep penetration of all active ingredients into the heart of the fibroblasts. A new - and surprising! - that promotes skin hydration, stimulates the lymphatic system and boosts the cell renewal mechanism (a tantalizing promise... and one that is actually kept).

Best suited to?

Universal, the clean formula of the Korean lift care is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive, and responds to many problems: lack of radiance and uniformity, imperfections, dilated pores, skin slackening... The care responds as well to city dwellers, tired, lacking radiance, as to over-solicited or suffocated skins by wearing the mask (plagued by imperfections!)

The formula?

The capsules contain a formula whose star ingredients are the famous plant stem cells. Necessary for the growth, development and regeneration of the plant, these self-renewing "super-cells" adapt to external environmental stresses to help the plant strengthen and protect itself. The 3 plants with "super-powers" the sea fennel (firming and regenerating), the centenarian ginseng (anti-inflammatory and protective) andedelweiss (anti-oxidant).

The formula also contains other ingredients to boost its efficacy such as:

  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Collagen
  • Ceramides
  • Phyto-polyamines
  • Vitamins: PP (anti-inflammatory), B8 et B3 (to improve the quality of the skin)
  • Biotin and spiruline
  • Antioxydants: Brown algae, fermented rice deposits and dandelion seed extract
  • Saké

So, what is the verdict?

I absolutely loved it!

It was the first time I tested a non-contact method, which was gentle on my skin, which was badly damaged by the cold and the mask. The experience is sensory as I like themeven though there is no massage here. The misting is so delicate that it is as relaxing as a classic facial and it continuously releases a scent that reflects the muffled place I am in (natural, of course).

To show me the effectiveness of the treatment (and the immediate results), the practitioner first misted half of my face: I then observed my plumped-up featuresI could see that the sagging areas of my face (such as the oval, dark circles, bags under the eyes and eyelids) were lifted. In the days that followed, my blemishes caused by wearing the mask cleared up and my small pimple scars were cleared up.
