In the bathroom of Mélanie Huynh, founder of Holidermie
To enter the world of Mélanie Huynh is to enter a world where beauty is lived with sense, slowness and intuition. With Holidermie, she imagines a routine where radiance comes as much from the formula as from the gesture, from the care as from the intention, a brand rooted in the conviction that skin is the mirror of inner harmony. Meet this luminous woman who makes beauty an art of living.
What did you want to achieve when you created Holidermie?
"Very early on in my career as a stylist, I was fascinated by the top models of the 90s: powerful, avant-garde women who were already embodying a wellness mindset long before its time. Nourished by my travels, my exchanges with international experts and my multicultural roots, I wanted to create a brand that was like me: holistic, committed and sensitive.
There was a turning point. After years in fashion, I felt the need to explore a more intimate beauty, more aligned with my values. I turned to practices such as yoga, meditation, nutrition, energy treatments... and looked for a brand that would bring all this together. I couldn't find one. So I created one.
Holidermie was born in 2019, following a founding meeting with Dr Jérôme Paris at Château Toulouse-Lautrec. Together, we imagined a clean, effective Inside & Out skincare line, made in France, capable of fighting the oxidative stress inherent in our modern lives. It's a global answer to a simple question: how can we make beauty a vector for lasting balance?"
What are your bathroom essentials?
"My essential: our Absolute Hydration Seruman exclusive moisturizing shield. I apply it morning and night, penetrating with our Rose Quartz Gua Sha. I also love our Antioxidant Day Creamas well as our tongue scraper and mouthwash, two essentials in my morning routine. For me, the bathroom is a sanctuary. Every gesture becomes a ritual.
What holistic actions do you take on a daily basis to feel good?
"I live beauty as a lifestyle. Intuitive eating, gentle physical activity, meditation, self-massage... In the morning, I start with a few facial yoga postures and a cup of tea. In the evening, I take time for a moment of gratitude and a few gestures to release tension. It's in these little rituals that I find my balance."
