Microblading, lash enhancement & freckles: we tested semi-permanent make-up for you
With the summer vacations approaching, which very often rhymes with the desire to wear less make-up, I started looking for a salon in Paris that offered treatments for my eyelashes and eyebrows. I came across Peach Beautya salon entirely dedicated to eye beauty and semi-permanent make-up.
Peach Beauty, the temple of perm make-up
Taos (the founder behind this temple to eye beauty) makes it a point of honor to respect the natural beauty of the people who pass through her fairy fingers. Her credo: to sublimate without transforming. A subtly redesigned lookA look that's redesigned in a subtle way, without looking too sophisticated - which has often made me hesitate to open the doors of this kind of salon.

And it's this passionate eye beauty expert and true master of the field (Taos cultivated her knowledge in the greatest eye salons for 8 years before offering her unique protocols), who finally made me want to take the plunge!
My experience with permanent make-up
After filling out a checklist to make sure there are no contraindications to the various services, we agree on the 3 treatments I will try:
- A natural natural fluffy brows "This is the combination of microblading (a technique developed in Asia that uses pigments to draw out hairs), performed with particularly fine needles for an almost imperceptible result, and a brow lift for a raised eyebrow and an airy, light finish.
- Eyelash enhancement: allowing you to curl your eyelashes in a natural way for 6 to 8 weeks (say goodbye to mascara during this period if you wish!)
- Fake freckles: while waiting for those that will come out naturally after a little sun.
Permanent eyebrow make-up
For my eyebrows, Taos has understood, I want a light finishFirst, she restructures my eyebrows with tweezers, then begins the brow lift, an eyebrow enhancement technique that aims to raise the eyebrows by modifying the upward movement of the hairs. This technique is completely painless, which makes me very happy.
Taos then redraws my eyebrows. After having validated the line together, she starts the microblading. Not being very used to the stimulations on this zone, I cannot hide you that it is the most painful part of the service (well, painful but quite bearable, especially when you see the result!).
A few dozen minutes later, my new eyebrows are there: full but very naturalwith a very nice line and symmetry that I love.
The little extra? The organic pigments used by Taos have been sourced to be as ethical as possible, and especially that they do not turn orange after a few months (which is unfortunately often the case when mineral pigments oxidize).
Lash enhancement
Because what could be better than not wearing eye make-up while on vacation? I'm a big fan of swimming and clean mascara (including Limitless Lash Ilia), but it's true that I often skip this step in my beauty routine during the summer, so as not to get my head out of the water with black under my eyes. The aim is to curl my natural lashes, without the need for maintenance..
It is always possible to add mascara if you want a stronger make-up look, for example in the evening, but personally, I am a fan of the natural look.
The little extra? The care is made so that the products used do not touch the eyelid, it is therefore safe for all those who would be afraid that a chemical substance is in contact with the eyes ;)
Freckles
As a big lover of freckled faces, I also let myself be tempted by this service. I love it when they pop up in the summer!
Once again, the pigment is deposited on the surface of the skin and will disappear will disappear naturally with time (unlike a tattoo). (unlike a tattoo). Taos places these pretty freckles on my nose and cheekbones. And if the result is already visible when I leave the salon, they will intensify a few days later, to my great joy!
