So you have oily skin!

You have shiny, dilated pores (even outside the T-zone), your skin texture may be quite thick, and small imperfections may appear.

In fact, your skin is running on overdrive, producing too much sebum. The causes of this imbalance may be a hormonal imbalance or an external change (weather, overly aggressive routine).

How lucky are you? You have few sensitivities or redness and skin aging is greatly slowed down for you ;)

Our best routines for oily skin

Gwenaëlle's morning beauty routine

The right gestures to pamper skin that's a bit temperamental, prone to small imperfections and shine.

Thao's evening routine

For deeply cleansed skin (but without aggression!)

Actions to avoid

  • 1. Mineral oils ("Mineral Oil" or "Paraffinium Liquidium" in compositions), which suffocate oily skin.
  • 2. Cleansers and stripping lotions: your skin, feeling attacked, will increase its sebum production even more. It's a vicious circle!
  • 3. The sun will dry out imperfections at first, but beware of the rebound effect when you return!

Gestures that make all the difference!

  • 1. Thorough, yet gentle cleansing! On the program: single cleansing in the morning, double cleansing in the evening, and twice a week a chemical exfoliation to deeply detoxify the skin... and that's it ;)
  • 2. Mattifying skin care products containing "blotting powders" to absorb sebum and rebalance the skin over the long term.
