So you have oily skin!

You have shine and large pores (even outside the T-zone), your skin texture may be quite thick, small imperfections may appear.

In fact, your skin is working in overdrive: it produces too much sebum. The causes of this imbalance can be a hormonal imbalance or an external change (weather, too aggressive routine).

How lucky are you? You have few sensitivities or redness and skin aging is greatly slowed down for you ;)

Our best routines for oily skin

Gwenaëlle’s morning beauty routine

The right gestures to pamper a skin that is a bit temperamental, prone to small imperfections and shine

Thao's evening routine

For deeply cleansed skin (but without aggression!)

Actions to avoid

  • 1. Mineral oils ("Mineral Oil" or "Paraffinium Liquidium" in the compositions) which will suffocate oily skin.
  • 2. Cleansers and stripping lotions: your skin, feeling attacked, will increase its sebum production even more. It's a vicious circle!
  • 3. The sun will dry up the imperfections at first, but beware of the rebound effect at the beginning of the school year!

Gestures that make a difference!

  • 1. A thorough, but not aggressive, cleansing! On the programme: single cleansing in the morning, double cleansing in the evening, and twice a week a chemical exfoliation for a deep detox of the skin... and that's it ;)
  • 2. Matifying care products containing "blotting powders" to absorb sebum and rebalance the skin over the long term.
